If you’re facing redundancy, your employer may legally dismiss you with minimal payment if you haven’t reached the two-year mark for redundancy and unfair dismissal protection. Without a settlement agreement, you could be dismissed with nothing more than a bare payout and little legal recourse. A settlement agreement, however, offers you a better payment and a guaranteed reference, giving you solid support as you move forward.
